GROUP CREDIT CONTROL MANAGER
This role takes full responsibility for ensuring the proficient management and operation of a large Credit Control team consisting of 10 members of staff based at the Head Office in Liverpool. The team provides a professional and high quality service to the UK Domestic and Export businesses but also supports overseas finance functions in Holland and Mauritius. This role is responsible for strategically developing the function in line with best and latest practice ensuring the smooth integration of acquisitions made by the Company. Some of the more strategic elements of this role currently are: · Accounts Receivable Project Leader for POD Scanning project · Accounts Receivable Project Leader for proposed Net Invoicing project. · Accounts Receivable Project Leader for the integration and upgrade of the Princes BV and Princes Foods MC Europe businesses into SAP ECC5 The role is supported by two Accounts Receivable Supervisors who manage the team on day to day issues. The department controls a sales ledger balance of £87 million and this position holds a pivotal role in the minimisation of the working capital of the company through continual liaison with all parts of the business (UK, BV and PTM) creating, reviewing and improving company procedures in line with best practice. This role must ensure adherence to the Group Credit Policy at all sites.
